Hiring a Feng Shui Consultant
When you want to choose a feng shui consultant, it’s a long process. But in the end it will be worth it. 
1. Before you hire a feng shui consultant, do a careful study of the principals behind the Western and Eastern feng shui, and the methods. This will help you to understand all of the various theories. Browse the Internet, take short courses, or read books to increase your knowledge.
2. Put your focus on the classical feng shui and for the assessments that are based on ancient principals like Flying Stars, yin and yang, I Ching, which relies upon mathematics, Oriental astronomy and astronomy, and Five elements. You’ll need this for your consultation.
3. Consider the practices of Eight Life Aspirations and Black Hat, which are complementary mixtures of modern and ancient practice which have been developed over the past two decades.
4. Talk to different consultants, and ask them for references and credentials. Find out where they were trained, and when. Find out how many consultations that they have done and what affiliations that they hold. Try to figure out how well the two of you will work together.
5. How does the consultant work, and what tradition does she practice? What is the structure of the fees and what services are included? Will there be a follow-up or a report, and will there be a need for repeat visits? |
